We are looking for a Quality Analyst who can test and release high quality mobile gaming applications on Android and iOS platforms by creating and executing test strategies. If you’re hard-working, enthusiastic, dedicated, have fire in the belly to accept challenges, then BlackLight Games is the place for you.What You Bring to the QA Team: Minimum of 0- 3 years mobile apps/ games testing experiencePrior experience testing live games with massive downloadsYou should be highly technical along with passion for creating delightful gaming experiences for millions of playersKnack to find the root cause of issueSolid understanding of Android and iOS platforms.Proven ability to create relevant and structured test cases, checklists and test plans * Proven ability to log actionable, reproducible, detailed bug reports clearly.Excellent analytical and problem solving skillsGreat attention to detailsStrong written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skillsExceptional time management skills & ability to prioritise multiple parallel tasks well * An exemplary work ethicAn ability to create and enforce processesExtra Gems for: Experience of working in Product industryUnderstanding of Unity and Android SDK and working of various Play Store and App Store featuresUnderstanding of client/server interaction and databasesAbility to write code (any programming language – Java/ C++, Python etc.)Your responsibilities would include: Closely work with Game Engineers and Product Managers to understand the changes getting rolled out; creating and executing test plans and test cases; being the overall owner for the testing and releasing of that feature to the game.Work side-by-side with development / product teams to ensure the game is achieving planned milestonesTest case creation from design documentation or feature expertiseTest the functionality and usability of iOS and Android games throughout various development phasesTimely and structured communication of issues, risks and testing statusDetect, research and report potential and verified issues with relevant details in an actionable way; keeping users at the center.
