Chief Data Office (CDO) is working on a strategic vision to enable the Bank to be a data driven organisation. CDO aims to achieve this vision through a program called “Palm Foundation”
Palm Foundation aims at delivering framework, tooling & controls required to achieve this vision.
One of the domains of this program refers to building the Data Ingestion capabilities. The objective of the project is to deliver a solution referred as “Producer Capability” which will enable CDO to offer a self-service mechanism to the producers of the data in order to extract the data from various source systems and supply them to CDO in standard format
Responsibilities
Seeking an experienced Ab Initio developer(s) with following responsibilities:
1. Design, Development, Analysis and Testing applications using AbInitio software products
2. Preparation of deployment, deployment and configuration scripts within the delivery channel including production
3. Troubleshooting and second line support of Production application
4. Performance tuning and code optimisation
5. Interact with key stakeholders (technical / functional) to explain change impacts
6. Assist tester(s) in performing the validations & verifications
7. Mentoring junior developers

Minimum 6 to 10 years of experience working as an Ab Initio developer in data driven / warehousing projectsProven track record of delivery using Ab Initio software:Proficient in using the Ab Initio development products = GDE, Express>IT, Co>Op System, EME, M-HUB, Control Centre, BREExperience in Design, Development, Testing and Deployment of the software codeExperience interacting with client stakeholders, data provider stakeholdersGood level of expertise in Oracle, MS SQL and Unix/LinuxVery good communication & analytical skillsGood stakeholder management, coordination & collaboration skillsGood experience working on Agile projects & familiarity with JIRASelf-starter, highly motivated and complete ownership from design till deploymentCreative / innovative thinker
