Summary
As a Senior Front End Software Engineer with a specialty in Tableau, you are responsible for the look and feel of the client-facing products. You are comfortable working closely with the Product, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success teams in order to deliver a comprehensive and polished solution. You have experience designing desktop web applications.
Responsibilities
Work daily with Tableau Desktop and Tableau Developer Tools (Document API, REST API).
Work with SQL and relational databases while writing Tableau Calculation.
Build prototypes.
Develop visualizations and conduct quality testing.
Work with Engineering and Product to roll-out new client dashboards and implement post-launch enhancements.
Qualifications
Minimum BA/BS or equivalent in CS, MIS, Engineering or closely related field.

Deep understanding of Tableau Online environment and its working in an integrated platform.

Ability to leverage LOD’s, table calculations and data densification techniques.

Knowledge of hypers, datasources, and Tableau APIs (e.g. Javascript API, Hyper API, REST API).

Bonus

Familiarity with Tableau Extension scripts.

Familiarity with Tableau Permissions and row-level security.

Familiarity with cloud databases and data lakes (e.g. Redshift).

Experience with Marketing Analytics or analytics in general.

Experience Tableau Prep or Alteryx.
