Job Description : ResponsibilitiesAn art teacher is the heart of any Project-Based-Learning Schools. So much that good PBL schools feel more like museums than schools, with high-quality student-work hanging on the walls, and in every nook and corner. (This adventure playground was created by our Art Teacher from scratch.)Your primary responsibility will be teaching Art across all grades in the School (Pre-primary to Grade 7) in a progressive manner.Responsibilities include: Instilling the love for arts in studentsIntegrating arts deeply into a project-based curriculumCreating an art-based, high-quality final product for many student projectsDeveloping strong one-to-one relations with students and parentsHelping students take charge of their own learningDocumenting student progress for report cardAdditional responsibilities include: Managing events, both within and outside the schoolSupervise students out of class such as in the hallwaysParticipating in parent outreach/marketing initiativesAdmissions counselingSkills and QualificationsPrior Experience of a minimum of 2 years of teaching Arts in a school setting is required.Intense passion for, and rich experience, in arts.
