Job Description : Authorization Caller – Pre Authorization in Healthcare with 2-4 years expWork Timing: Night ShiftLocation: ChennaiJob DescriptionAn established integrated health organization is seeking a full-time experienced Authorizations Specialist to work with our Personal Injury department with a goal of obtaining authorizations for injured patients as the result of accidents including auto, slip and falls, and attorney represented cases.JOB SUMMARYThis exciting position will entail contacting caseworkers, paralegals and attorneys via telephone, fax and email to request letters of protection, submit liens, confirm benefits and request authorization for personal injury patients to receive treatment at our facilities. The daily tasks include running reports and multi-tasking to obtain the goal of approvals for visits and procedures. These tasks will include completing paperwork, submitting requests and telephone communication with attorneys, physicians and support team members.JOB DESCRIPTIONContact automobile insurance companies to verify benefitsRequest letters of protection (LOPs) from attorneysSend liens to attorneys once completedCommunicate with attorneys to receive authorization for treatmentAppeal decisions when visits are deniedCommunicate with the internal team members on the progress of authorizationsCommunicate with patients when needed regarding the status of their authorizationsReschedule patient when neededEnter data information into computer systems including EHR and CRMEducate clinicians on auto and attorney case guidelinesJOB REQUIREMENTSMedical authorization experience (3+ Years)Prior experience with attorneys or automobile insurance process highly desiredAbility to multi-task while producing accurate workHighly organized and self-motivatedSuperior customer service to the attorneys, physicians and team membersCommitment to team problem solving and solutionsMust have experience with Electronic Health Record (EHR)Job Types: Full-time, Regular / PermanentPay: ₹35,000.00 – ₹45,000.00 per monthBenefits:Health insuranceSchedule:Evening shiftSupplemental Pay:Shift allowanceSpeak with the employer+91-XXXXXXXXXX
