Job Description : Job descriptionContent WriterWe are looking for a candidate who is creative and dynamic in the content domain. The candidate should have a keen interest in Indian art forms and the artist’s ecosystem. Rooftop is a start-up in the niche sector of the experience economy focusing on art experiences (including virtual and in-person art workshops) The company is building an app for live art experiences.As a content writer, you should be ready to work in a fast-paced environment. Few interests which would make you a worthy candidate are -Handling multiple coursework projects at a time.Exposure to work with scriptwriting and subtitle managementKeen interest in the art and culture space of India.Eye for detailed research on artform and its history.Handling a team of freelance translators and writers.Flexible in travelling to different locations with the production team.Comfortable working in a process-driven environment involving documentation.Content Writer Responsibilities: Creating engaging and detailed scripts for the coursework which includes art courses and pre-recorded workshops.Structuring the entire coursework videos along with the production team.Incorporating the tone, voice and style of the brand and consistently mapping them across materials.Managing a team of existing freelance writers and translators, looking after their payments, and escalation process.Research and analyse the research material created and strategize the brand’s coursework content accordingly.Have a detailed understanding and study of ongoing trends in the Ed-tech industry and content marketing.Suggest and ideate innovative ways of marketing the brands’ services through content.Collaborate with the creative team and production team for better output.Content Writer Requirements: 4-6 years of experience in core content writing. Min 2 years of experience in either ed-tech or art and artist’s space.Graduate.
