Role description
The role of the Digital Solutions Sr. Analyst – eCommerce SD is to ensure that Pall global eCommerce Portal expansion to Asia, ANZ region is achieved and deployed. The candidate will drive onsite (ASIA, ANZ) and offsite interactions to understand the requirement, prepare test cases and perform testing. In addition, the candidate will work within Digital team as a partner to business unit marketing functions to ensure that all Portal features are considered and enabled for new Country deployment. The candidate should be a solution-oriented thinker with strong attention to detail. The candidate should also possess a good understanding of integration of ERP – SAP and eCommerce.

Summary of the Role

Specific Responsibilities that you would own:
Facilitate the implementation and support of SAP SD
Experience in integration of ERP and eCommerce. Preferable with SAP and Intershop.
Perform detailed analysis of complex business process requirements and provide appropriate system solutions; identify, interpret, validate and document customer requirements
Facilitate workshops to collect business requirements
Map client business requirements, processes and objectives; develops necessary product modifications to satisfy clients’ needs.
Design, customize, configure and testing of SD
Identify gaps, issues and work around solutions.
Act as liaison with client for troubleshooting: investigate, analyse, and solve software problems.
Handle changes or emergency transports as needed for high priority issues; • Document functional designs, test cases and results.
Proactively identify and propose business process and/or system enhancements • Provide consulting services on both new implementations and existing support projects
Act as a liaison between the business functions and the technical team.
Supporting business strategies by recommending SAP solutions.
Ensure confidentiality, security and reliability of SAP systems and data
Develop and maintain compliance to IT policies and procedures
Provide ad-hoc training and user support as required
Work self-directed and independently; may act as subject matter mentor to more junior members.

Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a full cycle implementation as well as in support projects.
Minimum of 5 years designing and configuring SD modules.
Ability to multitask and manage multiple deliverables and projects at the same time
Experience in a Professional Services or Distribution company is an asset
Understanding of accounting business processes
Ability to understand business processes from a customer perspective
Ability to work in a team environment, effectively interacting with others
Must be results oriented, and demonstrate attitude – adaptability, flexibility and resourcefulness

Position Competencies (must haves for the position) :
The ideal candidate will possess most of the following skills and qualifications:
Good understanding of any eCommerce application. Preferably Intershop
Experience in RPA or Esker would be added advantage
Good and organized verbal and written communication
Strong analytical, interpersonal and organizational skills
Demonstrated ability to deliver on commitments
Flexible approach to problem solving and solid work ethic.
