Job Summary
Maintain and develop management reporting processes encompassing weekly, monthly, bi-annual and annual reporting together with weekly, monthly and longer term forecasting processes. Be part of a global team which ensures that routine processes are understood and adhered to.
Job Responsibilities
Providing on time reporting of daily, weekly, monthly and annual metrics
Managing processes for the completion of forecast, budgets and long term planning
Ensure that reporting and forecasting processes and timetables are well documented and understood by the different Divisions and Functions of GKN Aerospace
Review and challenge metrics as submitted. Provide insight to management.
Develop reporting tools to understand trends in business results that appear unexpected and could be an indication of a control issue/business issue that warrants further investigation and wider awareness in the organisation
Lead and supports the continuous improvement of financial information in the business
Be part of various project initiatives including dashboard, RPA, AI and Machine Learning
As part of creating A Great Place To Work, set clear expectations, coach and develop your immediate reports
Support and promote a standard way of problem solving and engage in analysis of various degrees of complexity.
Interacts with all stakeholders up to CFO Level
Job Qualifications
Relevant professional finance qualification (or equivalent)
1- 3 years’ experience of working in financial planning and analysis or similar .
Ideally with experience of working in an international company environment
Good communication and interpersonal skills interacting at all levels of the organization including ability and effectiveness in presenting to senior management
Solid understanding and ability to review and analyse financial statements
Attention to detail, structured and strong analytically with ability to see the bigger picture
Good understanding of financial consolidation and dash-boarding solutions such as OneStream, Qliksense or Tableau
Promote and share best practice across the business and implement to improve efficiencies in processes
