The Opportunity:
OpenText is the market leader in Enterprise Information Management platforms and applications. As a Lead Software Engineer you will utilize your knowledge and experience to perform design, systems analysis, research, maintenance, troubleshooting and other programming activities. You become a member of one of our Agile based development teams, focusing on product development. It is an exciting opportunity to design and implement solutions for enterprise level systems.
You are great at:
Major emphasis on writing excellent code following industry best practices.
Respond promptly and professionally to bug reports and customer escalations.
Perform all assigned jobs with minimal assistance.
Ownership and end-to-end; design, development, deployment, and support in production.
Work closely with Quality Engineering to review test plans and test cases.
Technical risk assessment, problem solving, early risk notification, report progress and status to manager.
What it Takes:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field with 10+ years mobile development experience.
Design and build advanced applications for the IOS platforms.
Expert in Objective-C, Swift, iOS SDK/Frameworks .
Experience with Xcode and/or AppCode IDEs.
Experience working on offline mobile apps & mobile SDK Development.
Familiar with iOS application design and interface guidelines.
Experience with RESTful APIs.
Expertise on unit testing, performance tuning, troubleshooting skills.
Expert knowledge of design patterns and object-oriented principles and how and when to apply them.
Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
