Responsibilities
As an active member of our team, you can expect your day-to-day responsibilities to include:
Support services, tools, modules, and applications to improve the quality of life for software development engineers and operations engineers
Work across different tools and programs such as DevSecOps, source code management, project/defect tracking, code security/signing, collaboration tools supporting developers across NetApp
Understanding of Secure Development Lifecycle and system security best practices
Promote AGILE best practices by collaborating with developers/managers during various phases of development
Implement tooling and integrations that improve security posture of platform and our customers/teams
Managing stake holders and external interfaces
Incident management and root cause analysis
Collaborate across time zones (San Jose, RTP, Bengaluru), teams, and business functions as needed for team projects
Qualifications
You will need to have hands-on experience, or certifications, in the following:
Experience working on both Windows and Linux based infrastructure
Experience with containerization technologies. Understanding of micro-services architecture.
Experience in observability and deployment of Apps in Kubernetes infra. (Good to have Kubernetes certification).
Good experience in automation using Python (MVC like Flask, Python rest APIs)
Understanding of Compliance process and Third-Party license validation.
Understanding of Code signing and certificate management.
Project tracking/collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence.
Helm, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.
Log ingest and dashboarding tools like Splunk
Working knowledge of Databases (CouchDB/Postgres/Mongo)
The ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced team environment. Participate in technical discussions within the team and with other groups across Business Units associated with evaluating and executing design and development plans for products.
Exceptional aptitude for learning new technologies.
Solid oral and written communication skills.
Education
A minimum of 1+ years of experience is required. 1 to 3 years of experience is preferred.
A bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent, a master’s degree, or a PhD; or equivalent experience is required
