As an Oracle DBA, you will be working on the latest Oracle technologies in the industry. Required Skills:
6+ years of Oracle DBA or equivalent experience on administrating and managing Oracle 11g-19c Database versions on Linux/Solaris/AIX/Windows systemsExpert Level experience with Oracle 19c upgrades with near zero downtime for multi-TB mission critical systemsStrong experience in installing, up-grading, and configuring the Enterprise Manager 13c Cloud Control on various platforms with different types of installationsEstablish and maintain sound backup and recovery policies and procedures.Monitoring and fine tuning the databases/queries for optimal performances.Expert Level experience with Oracle Dataguard and Active DataguardExtensive knowledge and solid troubleshooting experience in ASM & RAC database servers.Hands on experience on OEM – 11g/12c/13cExpert Level experience with Oracle database data centre migrations and upgradations.Expert Level experience in PSU/CPU patching process on standalone/RAC servers.Experience in implementation of Oracle partitioning, table re-organization and redefinition.Experience in cross platform database migrations.Strong experience in Database refreshes/ cloningStrong experience on multitenant database management and maintenances.Expert Level experience Database upgrade and patching methodologies.Expert in database and system level tuning, ability to review all Oracle and like system performance reports (AWR, ADDM, ASH Reports)Working knowledge of Linux/Unix technical scripting and utilitiesExperience in monitoring of CPU and Memory Utilization, identifying top SQL sessions, long running queries from OEM, and troubleshooting of various performance issues.Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skills and email and Instant Messenger (IM) etiquette.

Role and Responsibilities:
Database Management: Install/Create database, Database Refresh, Database Administration, Database backups/recovery and Database Migration.Engineering and administration of Oracle standalone and RAC clustered database environmentsDaily backup and recovery services and data pump for company production databases.Create and configure data security realm, configure rule sets, and secure application roles with database vault, and audit the data changes for enterprise databases.Oracle DBA support for company mission-critical OLTP database including production database backup restore/refresh, troubleshooting, run time event investigation.On-call support for mission-critical production databases including database performance monitoring, application-related run-time monitoring.Installation and Configuration and Monitoring through Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM)Data guard Configuration, Switchover DR activitiesExperience in implementation of Oracle partitioning, table re-organization and redefinition.Performing Active/Hot/Cold backup Clone from production to staging, moved production databases from one server to another.Supporting and documenting the implementation of approved changes to system configurations, software, and infrastructure within the approved testing scheduleImplementing releases/changes to databases via proper Change Management methodologyPerforming database and system tuning using the utilities and reports like AWR, ASH, ADDM, SQLT, SQL Tuning Advisor, SQL tracing and analysis, database event tracing etc.Applying and following Oracle CPU and PSU patching procedure.Responsible for keeping management up to date on any outstanding issues.Support: Provide Technical support, Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the PROD/DEV environments.Unix Scripting: Script writing/Understanding and enhancement in existing scripts.
