We are seeking a hands on customer obsessed Program Manager to join our JWO Workflow Program. You will own the experimentation of workforce schedule models, drive programs to bring efficiency into the system, and identify enhancements to charters of Workflow Analyst, Head count planner, Workflow Manager, and Command center. You would solves for root causes and not symptoms, influence change at all levels in the organization, and deliver big improvements for our customers. You would dive deep into the processes, programs, and tech to identify and drive improvement opportunities across Amazon Go business. You would develop quality metrics, optimize processes, and execute cross-functional projects to improve customer experience, quality and cost. You will participate in the exchange and promotion of best practices within the Amazon operational world as well as influence and train the Management Team in use of continuous improvement methods.

The successful candidate for this role will be a fast, clear, and independent thinker who is naturally curious about how things work, is metrics and number savvy, has an analytical mindset and has demonstrated leadership ability. You will contribute to and influence the prioritization of local and network project pipeline and process improvement project opportunities through ROI estimates and robust problem statements. Additionally, you are never satisfied with the status quo, can show success in following-up and getting things done and have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-centric and ever changing tech environment. This position requires deep customer focus, strong self-motivation and exceptional project management skills. It will involve regular communication with project sponsors and requires you to be detail-oriented and comfortable partnering with cross-functional business and technical teams. To be successful in this role, you need to pair strong analytical skills and a data-driven outlook with strong intuition.

Key job responsibilities

Document proposed strategy recommendations and present to leadership
Inspect existing and define ideal future state employee schedule programs
Define seamless charters of various roles of Workflow management
Work with program managers, and business leaders to drive critical business programs.
Develop, implement, and govern KPI reporting for a portfolio of programs, providing visibility to the milestones and performance across all projects.
Establish and continually improve the consistency, predictability, and efficiency of the organization’s project delivery capability by providing leadership in best practices.
Engage other Amazon business units globally to share best practices and improve end-to-end outcomes for Amazon customers.
Support development and continuous Piloting of Process Improvements and ongoing Bench marking Initiatives
Advanced degree/Master’s degree (Industrial Engineering, Math, Engineering, Science, Business) from an accredited university.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to converse with technology teams to bridge the language gap between business and tech.
