Responsible for leading and working with a team of database administrators who will work to deploy, support and continuously improve mission-critical database systems and their operations. Architecting and rollout of Database Servers installations and configurations Lead, mentor and coach database administrators on technical and personnel objectives including enhancements and maintenance of database systems Ensuring uptime of database servers as per SLA. Maintain database server performance by troubleshooting problems Defining and implementing database backup and restore policy as per RPO/RTO Establish and enforce policies and procedures related to database security and integrity Implementation of High Availability solutions available with different databases Support and improve cloud database solutions for legacy and web applications Migrating databases from on-premises to Cloud platform Close interaction with different teams for migration & upgradation of database servers Providing in-sight to top management on Capacity Planning. Providing weekly& monthly MIS reports Ensuring adherence to quality standards and SLA while attending calls / tickets Participation in Incident and change management Close interaction with Digital team and Solution Architect for implementing data lake / data science solutions
Experience of handling different type of databases in heterogenous environment Must have handled team of database administrators Should be experienced in handling stringent SLA in database management Good knowledge of database designing and data normalization Good experience of Project management Strong verbal and written communication skills Certification in RDBMS Knowledge of ISO 27001 & 9001 standards Experience managing databases on Cloud platforms – AWS and AZURE

Bachelors or Master-s degree
