About AIS Organization:
This job belongs to the Application Innovation Service organization at SAP. AIS supports the installed base of SAP products which are in mass shipment. AIS is the custodian of codebase of such products. AIS protects the maintenance revenue of SAP by providing highly efficient maintenance support to all SAP customers and is thus valued as trusted advisor by SAP customers for their business
Key Areas of Responsibility and TasksDevelopment SupportProduct Maintenance and DevelopmentProduct Expertise
Key Tasks•
Effective and efficient delivery of development support core tasks in the assigned functional areas of responsibility
o Analysis of complex software issues (on level Development Support)
o Provide expert maintenance and support for the SAP standard functional scope in the assigned areas of responsibility
o Ensure excellent quality and maintain high standards in message processing, customer notes, software corrections and software enhancements in the assigned areas of responsibility
o Deliver expert services to SAP installed base customers
o Organize and participate in the de-escalation of critical customer situations
o Provide corrections for data inconsistencies
Be part of continuous improvement of software quality; design and implement improvements of software architecture and applicationsImplement legal requirements and functional enhancements in areas of expertiseContribute regarding the development of SAP’s product standards, development and support infrastructure, as well as development and support processesMaintain technical expertise within the organizationGood experience with ABAP based development.
Experience & Language Requirements
Knowledge of SAP’s development and correction processes is preferred.Product knowledge as well as knowledge of the software architecture in one or multiple focus areasAbility to implement software corrections within a given software architecture in accordance with the SAP correction and maintenance strategyBasic Knowledge of SAP product standards for software development and maintenanceKnowledge of software development and modeling toolsAbility to implement new functional requirements according to the SAP product standards (both within the SAP standard and with regard to customer specific requirements )Communication skills with the ability to communicate appropriately with customers in difficult situationsAnalytical, problem-solving skillsFocus on pragmatic and effective solutionsGood team player.
Languages
Good oral and written communication and presentation skills in English.

B.E / B .Tech

4 years to 7 years.
