About the Team & Business Line:
Fund Administration is Citco’s core business, and our alternative asset and accounting service is one of the industry’s most respected. Our continuous investment in learning and technology solutions means our people are equipped to deliver a seamless client experience.
As a core member of our Middle Office Operations team, you will be working with some of the industry’s most accomplished professionals to deliver award-winning services for complex fund structures that our clients can depend upon.
Your Role:
Oversee the collateral process on a daily basis
Review mark to market exposures by counter-party on a daily basis Coordinate month-end collateral interest process between counter-parties
Oversee the treasury process on a daily basis
Set up and review collateral and treasury transfer payments via SWIFT Responsible for daily collateral and treasury movements between counter-parties. Escalate any issues internally and to the client as needed
Oversee the trade matching process on a daily basis
Reviewing multi instrument trade affirmations on vendors such as Omgeo CTM, Traiana, PB matching portals & manual short form recaps on Trade Date
Listed securities settlements via Prime Broker platforms, ensuring trades are pre-matched & subsequently settle on the market between the counterparty & PB OTC confirmations via Markit Trade Manager (MTM), DTCC, Markitwire & Long form confirmations
Interact effectively with all team members and supporting department(s)
Collaborate with customers, technology and operations staff to proactively contribute to improved service through operational or financial analysis
Work with multiple departments across the firm to drive results and deliverables
Work with client in a professional manner to resolve any open issues
Support senior management rolling out new operational processes
Support, communicate and escalate incident resolution as necessary
Provide both internal and external system training where required
Ensure adherence to Global Best Practice Policy and provide ongoing support in all matters related to operational risk
Develop and maintain a broad understanding of the MOS functions available
Support the migration of tasks from other locations, to ensure a seamless transition, along with supporting the conversion/launches of any new client
Actively engage in staff development and succession planning
Provide direction, guidance and mentoring to your team to ensure SLAs are met efficiently and accurately.
Demonstrate effective and timely decision making to address issues and appropriately escalate outcomes and mitigating steps accordingly
Monitor and manage KRIs and KPIS
Monitor and assist in managing client SLAs and operational deliverables in MOS
Assist the MOS team by working on projects as and when needed
Experience in team management with proven leadership skills
Support VP to successfully execute MOS strategy growth
About You:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or other quantitative subjects.
Knowledge of Hedge and Mutual Funds.
Strong Customer Service & analytical and problem solving skills.
Committed team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Detail focused with the ability to multi-task.
Ability to learn new systems and source information from numerous systems.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Adaptive, flexible professional style, capable of working in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
Strong computer skills, with proficiency in Excel and Word, and aptitude to learn new skills.
Ability to organize, prioritize tasks and work in a deadline-oriented environment.
Comfortable communicating with clients and counterparties via e-mail and phone.
Experience/exposure to a cash settlements role not essential but would be a benefit.
Experience/exposure to ISDA Bi-Lateral agreements & the collateral process not essential but would also be a benefit.
Experience in Trade Operations not essential but would also be a benefit.
Experience
10+ Years in Financial Services.
Supervisory skills with experience in managing and/or leading staff for 3+ years
Previous exposure in any of the below departments would be preferable:
Payments/OTC Settlements
Trade Operations (Affirmation & Confirmations)
Collateral management
Derivative instruments/Reconciliations.
