Roles and responsibilities:
Experience in the operations, management, support and administration
of Solarwinds for Network monitoring including server and application.
Experience with best practices for network monitoring including infrastructure and
application
Experience in scripting like Ksh, Bsh, Powershell
Experience in monitoring network devices and network performance Good
understanding of network environmental elements such VLANs, VPN, Protocols,
routing, IP address schemes, bandwidth, network devices, etc.
Good understanding of operating system such Unix/Linux and Windows
Good documentation skills
Basic skills on project planning and management
Excellent communication skills and customer relationship
Experience with other monitoring tools preferably network
Experience with ITSM tools such as Remedy, ServiceNow
Availability to be on call
