Onit (SimpleLegal) – Pune, Maharashtra, India – Full Time
We are looking for startup-minded developers to play a key role in working with Project managers to help gather customer information and deliver projects for our customer and to be the foundational members of our rapidly growing Engineering organization. Our list of over 200 customers includes a range of companies from AirBnB, Sequoia Capital, MGM, Reddi and Github.

The Role:
As a Data Migration Developer, you should have the following skills:
6+ years of experience in data migration.
2+ years of relevant experience on migrating application data from one application to the other.
2+ years on hand-on experience with ETL framework.
Proficient with SQL and fundamental relational database concepts.
Good understanding of tools used for Version control systems and continuous integration tools.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to communicate with PMs to gather requirements and provide demos on the built functionality
The candidate will be required to perform the following responsibilities:
Define migration mapping and migration staging structure
Manage the migration activities for multiple projects within the stipulated deadlines.
Responsible for fixing issues raised because of Migrations
Participate in peer reviews of code and suggest coding best practices
Participate in brainstorming discussion to build better solutions for the customer
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent preferred
Having worked on Pentaho would be a plus
Experience of working with multiple data sources – SQL Databases (any flavour), Flat files (delimited or fixed length files, excel files), APIs (REST, Web Services, etc.)
Understanding the existing schema of the SQL data and converting it into a relevant Json structure
Python Programming Skills would be a good to have skill in the candidate
Having experience in Enterprise Application troubleshooting would be an added advantage
Experience in designing and migrating workloads to an AWS Cloud environment
Experience in PostgreSQL
