You will combine marketing and social media management skills to build and enhance LetsAuthor’s online presence, grow and nurture our global Author Community, and create and manage innovative crowdfunding campaigns.We’re a small but productive team who are constantly looking for ways to improve, and care deeply about LetsAuthor’s mission to make authoring and publishing more inclusive.Key responsibilities and accountabilities: Understand LetsAuthor’s unique business strategy and deliver products and improvements that help us achieve our goals.Responsible for overall digital marketing activities—plan, manage and execute digital marketing campaigns end to end.Attract, build, nurture and grow LetsAuthor’s global author community, and drive engagement (we are in the early days of our community journey; we are seeking someone who understands how to build and grow communities, and how to drive real engagement)Create content roadmaps and monthly calendars; create, curate, manage and post social media contentProactively engage with members and followers across all social accounts; respond to all comments, mentions, DMs, etc (we’re seeking someone who thrives on hashtags, leaving comments, and driving real engagement)Develop and analyse reports, including establishing metrics, gathering insights, reporting on campaigns, and delivering ideas and suggestions for content optimization on a regular basis.Iterate on improving the experience, experiment, measure, and get constant feedback from our members.Coordinate with internal teams such as Commissioning, Tech, UI—Website Design teams, and external stakeholders.Manage crowdfunding campaigns for our authors.Develop, implement and manage an end-to-end fundraising strategy for the authors (the Campaigners).Empower authors with relevant tools, knowledge, and resources (flyers, social media graphics, infographics, email templates, and other digital marketing materials) to run their campaign.Develop, share, and manage an enticing global social media calendar for the authors to run their campaigns.Engage and maintain regular day-to-day communications with authors and motivate them to raise funds.Guide and support authors in leveraging their existing networks and communities to drive funding for a project.Manage day-to-day communication with the internal team on deadlines and deliverables.Key skills required: Minimum 3+ years of digital marketing experience—strategy, execution, optimizationExperience creating, writing and managing social media content and campaigns, including blog pieces, articles, social media posts, newsletters, videos, etcProven, hands-on experience with professional social media strategy/posting (LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter, Quora, etc) and engagement metrics and web analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics).Experience in building and growing online communitiesExperience in designing and managing online crowdfunding campaignsExperience working in an international setting, interacting with European and/or American customersPreferably, experience working in a start-up business environmentThe successful candidate will: Be motivated, self-driven, and enthusiastic about trying new things and solving problems.Relish the challenge of a fast-moving environment and global approach and working with a remote team.Be autonomous, highly organized and capable of effectively prioritizing and juggling multiple tasks.Enjoy a great level of freedom to strategize ideas and solutions that help campaigns reach their goals.Location: Remote working or Bangalore-basedSalary: INR 5-6 LPAType: Full-timeStart Date: May 2022Job Types: Full-time, Regular / PermanentSalary: ₹500,000.00 – ₹600,000.00 per yearBenefits:Paid sick timePaid time offWork from homeSchedule:Monday to FridayExperience:Digital Marketing: 3 years (Required)Online Community Management: 1 year (Required)Crowdfunding Campaign Management: 1 year (Preferred)Application Deadline: 16/03/2022
