Inviting applications for the role of Lead Consultant – Drupal
In this role, you are required toCreate digital assets such as Drupal website templates, scripts, and forms. Improve user experience and website usability by participating in user testing, analysis, and following web accessibility standards.
Responsibilities:
Design and develop improvements to client website.
Create digital assets such as Drupal website templates, scripts, and forms
Format content for upload and the Data Library according to the requirements of client’s Access to Information Policy as well as editorial and style guidelines
Help improve user experience and website usability by participating in user testing, analysis, and following web accessibility standards
Integrate third-party components such as Google Analytics, search, and taxonomy management
Help improve search results and support search engine optimization (SEO)
Regularly conduct quality checks (relevance, timeliness, completeness) of published content and make amendments as the need arises
Stay ahead of external changes in digital communications and regularly give ideas and suggestions to the team to ensure our systems and content deliver the best for our users.
Other digital production/web related activities as assigned.
Qualifications we seek in you:
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related discipline/Master degree in Computer Science
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with Linux, JavaScript, AngularJs, MongoDB, HTML5, CSS, XML, jQuery, SQL Server, and Web Services.
Experience developing web-based forms utilizing JavaScript, XML, XSL, HTML and CSS. Experience developing with SOAP and/or REST based web services.
Working experience with RESTful API design and implementation or Distributed systems design and development.
Knowledge in JavaScript frameworks i.e. Node.js, React, Angular o ESP (Email Service Provider) integration.
Robust development experience.
Experience in Drupal CMS development.
PHP frameworks (Twig, Symfony, Composer etc.).
Good interpersonal skills with positive, flexible demeanor.
Flexibility to switch between working independently and collaborating with a team.
