Responsibilities include

Ability to lead team and drive solutions working through organization processes and different supporting groups
Interface and coordinate with Global IT teams to develop long term/multi-year cost-effective & strategic solutions.
Solution Architect for Applications, work on system analysis, design, development and implementation of applications.
Lead design sessions within IT development team to ensure designs are of high quality.
Walkthrough solutions to business and receive appropriate stakeholder approval.
Translate business requirements into projects by considering all alternatives and implementing the best strategy to ensure design meets performance, usability, and reliability and scalability requirements.
Interface application development team and with infrastructure teams to develop and deliver projects while adhering to State Street Standards.
Implement and maintain data model for the respective applications with a holistic approach.
Develop framework that would automate and enable applications to source data from one environment to another.
Coordinate with the various infrastructure teams and development teams to deliver the projects.
Design and implement framework that would allow applications to stream real time data from various applications to the big data datalake.
Develop Frameworks, standards and guidelines for project components like Exception module, Data Feed Monitor, scalable metadata driven UI implementation.
Oversee maintenance and support of existing software applications
Interface with external and internal Auditors for reviewing the respective applications.
Desired Experience & Skillset
Experience leading the team and drive solutions working thru organization processes and different supporting groups
Around 10-12 years of IT experience working with various technologies – Java, Oracle, ETL and Big data
Experience working in the Financial domain and or Corporate Systems is a big plus
Knowledge of Big Data concepts and tools – Sqoop, Spark, Oozie , Hive, Impala etc. is a plus
Solid experience in development of applications using Oracle Database, PL/SQL, Java/J2ee/Spring boot etc. is required
Full Stack Web Application Development using Java, JEE, Javascript framerwork (NodeJS/ReactJS), WebService, Microservices, Cloud PaaS in Linux environment.
Strong front-end development experience in ReactJS.
Experience on rules engine such as Drools framework and workflow engine such as Airflow is required
End to end knowledge of development and delivery of projects.
Outstanding communication, analytical and problem solving skills to effectively interact with multi-disciplinary teams and present to every level of the organization.
Experience in building Database applications & Data Integration projects is mandatory
Experience in Financial Risk Management projects is desirable
