Job Description : Who You’ll Work With
You will be based in our Gurgaon office as a member of the Social Sector, Healthcare, & Public Sector Entities (SHaPE) practice.
You will report to the Asia practice manager for the SHaPE practice.
You will work closely with colleagues in the SHaPE practice and key stakeholders including practice leadership for Asia and across offices. You will also be collaborating with our global SHaPE practice management team across regions and functions of reach & relevance – McKinsey Center for Government, practice finance, domains, professional development and solutions team.
What You’ll Do
You will support our practice operations and management on performance reporting as well as maintaining and developing our practice repository and infrastructure.
In this role, you will work with people lists, listservs, qualifications pack and key practice strategy documents. You will also support internal connectivity and select external client events as well as general practice management activities. You will support the practice on people and community building initiatives including tracking, maintaining distribution lists and managing the invitation list and registrations as well as tracking for locally practice delivered capability building events. You will also handle general SHaPE first alert practice inquiries, providing teams with relevant documents and directing them to experts.
You will provide performance reporting across client and people using CPM 360 and Practice Finance inputs as need be and help review industry tagging of SHaPE engagements on a regular basis. Your role will also involve sharing All-in reports, developing Asia and office summaries as we share them. You will also help with managing and revising external advisor contracts and keep a check on WIPs/budget. You will support internal connectivity events in Asia such as the Asia week, Asia townhall and leadership meetings. You will also help organize learning events for our colleagues.
Qualifications
University degree
3+ years of experience in a professional services environment is highly preferred
Demonstrable intellectual curiosity through professional training or professional impact
Hands on with Excel, PowerPoint, Box; familiarity with Tableau and Firm systems preferred
Strong organizational and process management skills
Ability to work well under pressure and solution orientation
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to work on complex, sensitive, time-critical issues, on unfamiliar topics
Strong personal presence and credibility; ability to work across all levels of seniority
Highly collaborative attitude; interest and aptitude for working as part of a global team
Self-motivated with an appetite for working entrepreneurially and a track record as self-starter
Comfort with ambiguity and flexibility as priorities shift and autonomous ‘self-learning’ mindset
Ability to work with confidential info
Affinity for creative, visual design
Outstanding English written and oral communication skills
