Job Description : About the Role
We are looking for a smart and driven, experienced Product Manager to join our Marketing & System Communications Product team. You will be responsible for building the various elements that power our core platform to enable communications from Gojek to our customers (users, drivers, merchants) across multiple touchpoints (within the app as well as outside). You would be partnering with our marketing and CRM teams and different product teams (Transport, Food, Logistics, Groceries) to help them solve important business objectives like customer acquisition, onboarding, engagement, retention, and monetization with high ROI. You will be required to demonstrate a strategic bent for building platforms and a bias for action – and most importantly put customers first.
To succeed in this role, you will be helping to shape the overall direction for the team as well as roll up your sleeves to execute key deliverables. You would ensure that product judgments are based on strong sound rigor and in-depth investigation and value data over opinions. You should also know to look beyond the surface level when it comes to data/research and separate wheat from the chaff. You need to have exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills as this role need you to collaborate with, manage expectations of, and align stakeholders across functions.
What You Will Do
As part of the product team, you will drive the product vision and strategy, and execute on the prioritized roadmap for your product area by working with engineers and designers to ship features and product improvements
Write and communicate clear, concise, and prioritized feature requirements and user stories along with a clearly defined go-to-market plan that is easily understood by technical & non-technical audiences
Work closely with Marketing, CRM, Engineering, Design, Research, and Data functions to build experiences that ensure only hyper-relevant communications reach our users.
Build alliances with other product groups to experiment with and launch new 0-1 experiences in talking to users.
Partner with design/research team to facilitate problem-solving/co-design sessions – Leverage user research, usability studies, market research, experiments, and data study and translate them into requirements that solve real problems for a large set of users.
Monitor and measure launched products and feed findings back into the product development process

What You Will Need
A Bachelor’s / master’s or an equivalent degree, preferably in engineering or management
At least 3+ years of product management experience in delivering highly successful and innovative consumer Internet products with stellar design taste and product instincts
You have the ability to break down complex problems, identify use cases and solutions that can be reused across multiple areas
Demonstrated ability to apply frameworks to make and justify product/prioritization choices (eg Jobs to be done, story mapping, ICE)
Demonstrate a nuanced understanding of data, design & research, software engineering, and business processes and partner effectively with those teams
Superior communication skills with the ability to weave strategy, insights, priorities, and plan forward into a structured and organized storyline at all levels of management.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to steer use data and metrics to justify requirements, features.
High attention to detail, ability to insist on high standards, and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously with minimal supervision and experience working in Growth/Marketing/AdTech would be a plus.

The System & Marketing Communications team is part of the Gojek Communications Platform Group. The team owns close to half a dozen products and basically acts as a conduit for all we want to tell users and all users want to tell us! The team operates across a wide spectrum of problems — from solving thorny technical problems at an unimaginably large scale to going down to the details of how a feedback button bounces to create a delightful micro-interaction! We spend a lot of time thinking about “Is this message better sent as a push notification or as a chat conversation that’s available when a user opens the app?”, “How do we empower our marketing teams to get the maximum ROI out of their campaigns?” and “Does pineapple on pizza ever make sense?” among other things.
