Job Description
Job Summary
Under the guidance of a Business Architecture Section Lead, Business Architecture Modeler would create or update the business layer of solution architectures for DLT Labs’ industry-leading enterprise-blockchain-based products. The business layer of solution architecture describes human roles and activities as well as a technology-independent view of the product’s objectives. A second review of the Product Requirements and recommended naming for business-related elements of the solution are important by-products of this process.

Business architectures at DLT Labs are primarily modelled visually using an adapted version of ArchiMate for which on-the-job training will be provided. Other skills, especially written communication in English, UML, and entity-relationship modelling, also find direct application in the business architecture layer. Although the goal of the business layer is a technology-independent view, any Understanding of the underlying technology is helpful.
Responsibilities

Interact with the Product consultant team, on day to day basis, to understand the new/changed requirements for a DL Platform.

Create Business Architecture Models to exhibit the changes/additions to the platform functionalities, based on the requirements documents, and document them.

Conduct meetings/walkthroughs required to deliver a Business Architecture Document.

Manage Business Architecture deliverables via the DL-ERP platform.

Submit the deliverable timelines & regular updates on any deviation to those timelines to the Project team.

Learn new skills/other Architecture relevant modelling languages as & when required.
Requirements
A Technical university degree

Minimum of 1-year experience in the capacity of a Software development lifecycle (SDLC) related role.

Interest in visual modelling and proficient English communication skills.

Evidence of productivity and enthusiasm towards their assigned job.

Willing to work in IST & EST/EDT time zones.

Should possess the soft skills – Professional attitude, Team player, sincere, patient, meticulous and proactive.
Good to have –
Visual Modeling Languages: ArchiMate (a huge plus but not expected), UML, Entity Relationship Diagramming (ERD), Business Process Modeling Language (BPML).

Business analysis and/or product requirements writing.

IT architecture experience of any sort: enterprise, solution, data, infrastructure/cloud, etc.

Basic understanding of one or more programming languages.

Project management experience.
