Job Description : HPE is re-defining traditional IT hardware into a composable, software-defined infrastructure that mimics the speed and control of cloud platforms for bringing resources online to develop and run production applications. The foundation of this software-defined infrastructure is HPE OneView, which is responsible for coordinating the automation to deliver this cloud-like experience. We are currently in the process of significantly redesigning the OneView product to leverage modern, cloud-native technologies and continuous integration and deployment processes and we’re looking for people with those skills to join us in this effort.
Domain Experience:
In-depth knowledge in Virtualization and Operating System
In-depth knowledge in Server, Storage and Networking domains
Experience with Networking Switching and Routing Configurations and Troubleshooting
Experience with VLANs, DHCP, ISCI, FC/FCOE protocols
Experience in CISCO APIC & NEXUS & Arista Switch management will be an added advantage
Experience in configuring Brocade, Arista & HPN switches is an added advantage
Systematic problem-solving approach, coupled with strong communication skills and a sense of ownership and drive.
Proficiency with Linux, windows & ESX
Experience in designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems.
Experience with enterprise network design and operations in a global environment.
Experience in deriving the test plan and solution test use cases
Demonstrate the ability to work independently as well as work in a team environment and demonstrate exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Effectively and efficiently execute detailed validation procedures across various hardware and software products.
Assist in the debug of defects found during the validation process.
Effectively work and communicate with other team members in a global environment.
Constantly learn and demonstrate competencies in new technologies, products, and solutions
Automation expertise:
Experience in advanced Python programming is essential
Should be able to develop python libraries to automate the tests
Automation experience to use robot frame-work for end to end test case implementation
Experience with Jenkins and Robot framework is an added advantage
Should have prior experience automating the API’s
Experience in automating network traffic validation is an added advantage
Desirable
Understand the challenges of managing the lifecycle of software that is shipped to customers and runs in a data center
Experience with dockers & kubernetese
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s or Master’s engineering degree in Computer Science, Information Systems.
5-8 years of relevant experience
