To support our growth and commitment to hiring exceptional performers, we are looking for a Cloud Reliability Engineer based in Bangalore, India.
Cloud Reliability Engineers engineer our production systems to be run at scale, so that manual and repetitive work is fully eliminated. They follow blameless postmortem practices so that all incidents are well understood and problems are fixed at their root. Over time, they make our systems more robust, fault-tolerant and able to self-heal during the worst of outages and through the most unexpected circumstances.
Cloud Reliability Engineers are experts in troubleshooting complex problems and can dig very deep into why systems break in production. In order to do that, they rely on observability practices like centralized logging, distributed tracing and anomaly detection. They shorten response and remediation times, by improving the accuracy of alarms and speed of troubleshooting.
Cloud Reliability Engineers leverage the latest infrastructure automation best practices and the toolset offered by Cloud Providers, so that they multiply their effectiveness and reach bigger outcomes.

Job Responsibilities and Expectations:
Ensure the availability, performance, scalability of the cloud infrastructure;
Automating cloud operations that can be executed with no customer downtime;
Perform monitoring, incident management, and capacity planning engineering and improvements;
Perform blameless root cause analysis on service interruptions and ensure action items are done;
Monitor customer infrastructure, measuring availability and system health;
Collaborate with customer support in recovering from escalated service interruptions;
Troubleshoot complex incidents in highly distributed systems;
Reduce time to detecting by improving the accuracy of alarms;
Be a key stakeholder in the design of cloud services so that they are resilient from day 0.
Solve complex unknown challenges as they arise
Desired Skills & Experience:
Operational experience with participation in an on-call rotation.
3+ years of experience in a Cloud Engineering role (AWS strongly preferred)
Experience in network administration (e.g. TCP/IP, DNS, Load-Balancers)
DevOps and/or SRE experience or exposure;
Troubleshooting skills
Must possess a continuous learning habit;
Kubernetes experience (preferably EKS)
Proficiency in one high language programming language (Python, Go, C#);
Proficiency in both Windows and Linux;
Experience with RDBMS operations;
Capacity planning;
Production Kubernetes experience;
Ways To Stand Out From The Crowd
Extensive experience in software development
Proficiency in both Windows and Linux;
Experience with data engineering and ETL;
SDLC experience and clean code practice;
Team Leadership experience
