The opportunity
EY GDS Content Center of Excellence is a fast-growing team of talented copywriters, editors, content strategists, thought leadership writers and editorial managers. People in the team provide support for key global EY publications and campaigns.
The Supervising Associate — Editorial will spearhead complex content projects and ensure that the content aligns with the organization’s writing and style guidelines. The role will entail providing high-level consultation to customers on editorial strategy and tone of voice and proactively recommending strategic, structural and tonal changes. The role holder will be the lead editor supporting with high-impact content for articles, blogs, reports, white papers and presentations.
Your key responsibilities
Provide content and editorial management support for high-visibility EY programs and campaigns
Edit/review content in line with the EY brand guidelines
Repurpose content to meet the needs of the readership
Ensure the content is grammatically correct and brand-compliant
Liaise with subject matter resources for technical sign-off on the content, incorporating timely and accurate incorporation of the feedback in the final copy
Coordinate with other in-house teams, writers, designers and production staff to negotiate timelines and ensure brand compliance and grammatical accuracy of content
Follow up with involved teams to maintain schedules
Effectively prioritize work, and balance multiple priorities simultaneously to meet client commitments and deadlines
Provide project management and administrative support, as needed
Review the work of junior editors, provide constructive feedback and help drive best practices in grammar, messaging, writing and style within the team
Recommend ways for improvement in process and tracking of copy flow

Skills and attributes for success
This position requires the candidate to have exceptional editorial skills and experience managing publication of content.
Key skills required to excel in this role:
Deft in writing, editing and has a way with words
Ability to understand and articulate complex business ideas in an engaging, audience-friendly style
Effective written and verbal communication skills, including superior editing, proofing, and proficiency with grammar
Adept in creating engaging, inspiring and persuasive B2B content
Exceptional organization skills and attention to detail
Good understanding of content strategy principles and processes
Proven experience of liaising with subject matter resources and authors at all levels
Tool knowledge: MS Office (Word/PPT) and PDF
To qualify for the role, you must have:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree, preferably in English literature or mass communication
At least 8-9 years of relevant experience
Ideally, you’ll also have:
Previous experience in large, matrix organizations or other Big Fours
