Job Title: DevOps Engineer
Summary:
SAP Basis Expertise with hands-on experience in working on customer landscapes on topics such as monitoring, system provisioning and security.
Experience (Role Requirements):Around 6-8 years of overall software support/operations experience, with a successful delivery track record.Extensive experience in operating/administering SAP system – Basis/Netweaver experience, Linux and any DBAbility to handle major customer escalationsAbility to assess performance issuesGood understanding of operational framework like ITIL/ITSM. Operations process knowledge is an advantageBring technical expertise on a specific topic or problem related to the customer landscapeTakes the full responsibility for the quality of the delivered tasks and is accountable for the successAbility to quickly understand and articulate new product technical requirements.Drive Operational efficiency topics.Own, Lead and coordinate operational tasks, customer escalations, process improvements.Work in project management mode with fixed timelines, cost and scope, with communication across stakeholders, etc.
