Responsibilities:
Designing, implementing, and maintaining Java applications that are often high-volume and low-latency, required for mission-critical systems.
Provide proper code documentation and implement configuration changes to packaged software applications to meet business requirements.
Understand software requirements and translate them into high-performance products
Implement AWS containers to support Go implementation and successful repository maintenance
Code back-end components and integrate applications to other web services
Create robust, scalable, and reusable code
Choose and implement JavaScript libraries that will optimize performance without sacrificing security and base functionality
Implement feedback and changes whenever possible and troubleshoot issues
Play a key role in architectural and design decisions
Coordinate with stakeholders and decision-makers to test and improve services
Provide analytical approaches to solve problems
Mentoring junior staff and providing technical leadership on large-scale projects.
Interact with different development teams and Project Directors to design and in some cases implement new initiatives.
Skills and Experience:
4 years or more experience in software development.
Proven experience working with the Go programming language
Experience with REST APIs, Microservice Architecture, Elasticsearch, Docker or Kubernetes
Experience with deploying and operating services on LinuxExperience with Google Cloud Platform and a strong understanding of infrastructure components
Experience with continuous integration deployment processes and tools such as Jenkins, Maven etc.
Ability to write clean and effective Godoc comments
Familiarity with database technologies such as MySQL, Oracle, and MongoDB
Hands-on experience with code versioning tools like Git
Knowledge in Java or Python is recommended
Education and Experience:
Bachelors or Masters from Premier Institutes preferred.
Experience 4-12 years
