About the Team
This position is on the Go-to-Market Legal at Workday and is part of the Business Technology/IT team that is responsible for supporting successful and sustainable global enterprise applications built on Salesforce and it’s eco-system. This position will be based in Pune, India. Our team cultivates relationships with our business partners built on collaboration & trust to support a rapidly growing business; transforming visions of improving efficiency and operational effectiveness into reality through technology, innovation and inspiration.
About the Role
The candidate will have direct hands on experience in Salesforce.com, configuration and implementation.
In this role you will be part of a team that is focused on delivering a world-class application support experience for enterprise applications. A team player, collaboration-oriented, mindset is essential.
Minimum Skills Required for this job are all aspects of Salesforce configuration, strong Apex, Visualforce Development or strong Java development background with an attitude to learn new technologies.
Responsibilities:
Configure the Salesforce application based on the business requirements
Develop custom applications using Apex, Visualforce, JavaScript, AJAX, HTML, CSS
Learn and apply best practices and experience to build Salesforce applications.
Perform support and development activities for applications/projects assigned
Work closely with other developers in the team, business analyst, QA analyst and project managers.
Research Salesforce.com capabilities as needed to suit business requirements, and provide gap analysis
Requirements:
Minimum 2+ years of application design and development experience(Salesforce experience strongly preferred)
Excellent oral and written communication skills are a MUST
Experience integrating Salesforce with other applications(preferred)
Experience with Apttus CLM(preferred)
Salesforce.com developer certification(preferred)
About You
Bachelor’s with 5+ years of experience OR MS with 3+ years in Computer Science or Information Technology
At least 3+ years in Enterprise Software Application Support OR At least 3+ years in Enterprise Software Application Development
Strong technical knowledge of enterprise software application development and enterprise application integrations (Salesforce, Apttus, MuleSoft/SnapLogic)
Hands on experience troubleshooting technical issues on Salesforce platform end-to-end (Application, Database, Network & Integration layers)
