Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and improve the digital products and technology services we provide to our clients and employees
Apply a broad range of software engineering techniques, from analysing user needs and developing new features to automated testing, CI/CD, and other DevOps practices
Ensure the quality, security, reliability, and compliance of our solutions by applying our digital principles and implementing both functional and non-functional requirements
Build observability into our solutions, monitor production health, help to resolve incidents, and remediate the root cause of risks and issues
Learn new technologies and practices, reuse strategic platforms and standards, evaluate options, and make decisions with long-term sustainability in mind
Work in an agile way as part of multi-disciplinary teams, participate in agile ceremonies, and collaborate with engineers, product managers, designers, and others
Understand, represent, and advocate for client needs
Share knowledge and expertise with colleagues, help with hiring, and contribute regularly to our engineering culture and internal communities

Your team
You’ll be working in the Global Market Sales Technology team in London focusing on creating the most data driven, agile, productive and technology enabled sales force in the industry
Your expertise
strong experience with Java Enterprise and the Spring Framework (Container, MVC, JDBC)experience in managing globally spread resources and knowing about possibly related cultural aspectsexpertise in generic computing science including OOP modelling (UML, SOLID etc.), algorithms, data structures and design patternsclean coding and refactoring skillsproficiency with relational database concepts and interaction (JDBC, SQL, RDBMS)other programming languages such as Python.good knowledge of unit testing approach & frameworks (e.g. JUnit)experience with build tools like Ant or Maven, and development tools such as Eclipse, IntelliJ, GitLab, JIRA, TeamCity, Nexusexperience with web servers running Tomcat & Apacheworking knowledge of client-side web technologies (JavaScript, JSON, HTML, CSS)know-how of agile development practices (Scrum, XP, Kanban, etc.)experience with any Cloud Technologies preferably Azure.adaptable, able to work across teams, functions, and applicationsenthusiastic, self-motivated, and client-focusedanalytical and methodical, using evidence to solve problemsa strong communicator, fluent in English
