Job Description : No. of openings: 1Years of experience: 4+ yearsResponsibilities: Lead and direct the UI/UX and graphic design teams.Drive product-design strategyCurate and maintain StepSetGo’s design system – to ensure consistency across features and reduce time-to-build.Define a vision to establish and foster design culture and team moraleHiring, developing, and inspiring the design team consisting of graphic designers, illustrators, animators, 3D designers, character designers, and moreConceive and implement concepts, guidelines, and strategies in various creative projects and oversee them to completionDefine creative, usable, high-quality interactions and experiences on social media, App merchandise & Website content, physical packaging, card design, marketing assets, etc.Work with the product design team to improve the product design processCollaborate, brainstorm with Creative & Marketing teams, and communicate the project outline to the design teamWork collaboratively with other designers to ensure a consistent, integrated brand perception and user-experienceTranslate user needs, align with brand guidelines and translate into designs that are visually enticing and emotionally engagingStaying in the loop and on top of the latest standards, changes, trends in the visual design field.The ability to refine other people’s ideas and come up with new ones to create a highly engaging visual experience.A high degree of brand awareness and aesthetics.Develop first-hand intuition about the product, users, and the brand.Education & Work Experience: 4+ years of total product design experience1+ years of experience managing and building design teamsExperience creating and/or maintaining robust design systems.Experience designing for new products from the ground up.Experience working with consumer tech products is a must.A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in brand designing & development, working with marketing teams, diverse design teams including 3D designersHighly skilled in leading a team of creative talent. Built and lead a talented and high-performing team of designers with a passion for developing others, you’ll coach and encourage your team towards success and cohesion.Hands-on experience with logo design, typography, color, web layout design, print production, image selection, and package design.Skill Sets: Mandatory: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe IllustratorPreferred: Figma, Adobe After Effect, Premier ProJob Type: Full-time
