Job Description

Responsible for full stack quality across multiple applications and technology initiatives
Manage engineering teams and leads
Partner with peers in QA and Development in rolling out initiatives and best practices
Set clear and aligned goals and direction for the team
Review and manage configurations, builds, branching, and deployment issues
Partner with product and development managers on feature and release prioritization
Passionate about dashboards, metrics, test automation, and product improvement
Initiate and roll out innovations to continuously improve quality and delivery
Drive root cause analysis and track defect resolution and verification to completion
Manage HR and Performance aspects of employees
Communicate status frequently in leadership and program update meetings
Mentor, coach, and guide engineers and leads
Proactively engage in career management and development of direct reports

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s in computer science or other related degree10+ years of relevant work experience in development, test and quality4+ years of experience in leading engineering organization with at least 2 years in Manager role.Demonstrated knowledge and experience of SDLC in agile environment, software development & quality assurance process & methodologyExperience in tools development, automation, security testing, and performance testing using open-source tools.Technical proficiency and experience in development, automated testing, and troubleshooting Web Applications, Web Services API, mobile applications and Java based applications.Experience working with the mobile stack (iOS and Android)Experience implementing CI/CD using open-source technologyExperience with static analysis and code coverage tools is a plusExcellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications
Experience in managing technology teamsKnowledge or experience of financials/payments industryCross-browser and cross-device test automation experienceKnowledge of API and UI functional, automation, performance, and security testing along with familiarity of industry wide tools such as Rest Assured, SOAPUI, Cucumber, Selenium, etc.Good knowledge of SQL and DB concepts.Experience in Mobile application automation across Android and iOS.Experience in Selenium/Appium.Knowledge of iOS tools, technologies – Xcode, TestFlight, Apple developer ecosystem, AppStoreExperience working with CI/CD.Experience using Android SDK, Android Studio, Eclipse IDE, Gradle, Microsoft App Center.Knowledge on building mobile application tests using any preferred test automation framework and testing it across local and cloud based mobile devices.Passion for delivering high quality software products.Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and commitments in an environment that requires multitasking among concurrent projects.Experience of working with distributed global teams.
