Job Description : Senior OSS Engineer (L2)
Job Requirements
4-8 years in telecommunication industry, 3+ years in OSS/BSS operations
delivery. Mainstream OSS products for (Fault Management, Service Desk Ticketing, Inventory Management, Performance Management, etc) integration experience is preferred, experience in minimum two applications.
Large and complex OSS operations experience
Familiar with wireless/fixed network and O&M, eTOM/ITIL expertise preferred.
Understanding of Change/Incident/Problem management process.
Experienced in Linux and mainstream database (Oracle, SQL), Knowledge of
at least one scripting language (e.g. shell, Perl).
Experience installation and configurations OSS related application (Netcool,
Remedy, Metasolv, Mobinets, ADRS,GIS,Mycom etc)
Periodic maintenance activities & troubleshooting.
Requirement gathering and translating business requirements into
technical/functional implementations.
Coordination with L3 teams and users for incidents and change management.
Strong understanding of telecom network domains/technologies, Access, Transport, Microwave, RAN, CEN IPcore
Deep technical aptitude and ability to communicate effectively with
both technical customer as well as business-oriented customers
Bachelor degree or above in Telecom related major, good communications
ability is required.
Good personality and communication skills, teamwork spirit and goal-oriented
and Must be able to work well under pressure
