Job Description : Summary:

Tableau Developer to translate business requirements into Tableau visualizations, driving engagement across the spectrum.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Understanding the Client requirement and developing the reports as per requirement.
Working on different types of filters like Quick filter, Global Filter, Cascading and Context Filter.
Dealing with parameters, filters and functions within Tableau.
Working on Tableau Blending and creation of worksheets, Dashboards and Stories.
Updating the Tableau Extracts on timely basis as the source database updates.
Utilizing the capabilities of Tableau such as Data extracts, Forecasting, Dashboard actions and Table calculations for generating various reports.
Publishing and maintaining the reports on Tableau server.
Working on the Enhancements of the Reports as per the business requirement.
Validation of logic and underlying data in all Tableauviews
Tableau Report Performance Optimization
Migrating the reports from one site to other site by using power tool
Troubleshooting reports or dashboards for meeting business requirements.
Creating the Data sources based on the custom report requirements.
Work closely with business Objects reports and dashboards to Tableau.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and responsibilities independently as well as a proactive
team member.
Involved in trouble shooting of performance issues which were associated with Tableau reports.
creating different Visualizations using Bars, Lines etc.
Involved in SQL query optimization to improve performance.
Working closely and collaboratively with the team lead to understand the business requirements and translate them into Tableau Views.

Skills Required:

Reporting Tools: Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server, in any other BI tool
Databases: MS Access, MS SQL Server
Basic MS Excel and functions
Strong Communication Skills
Problem Solving Ability
Healthcare experience preferred

Organizational skills
Ability to multi-task efficiently and effectively
Ability to communicate effectively in the English language in person, by phone and in writing
