Job Description : We plan to expand our focus in the agricultural value chain to supply high-quality agricultural commodity products to potential end-customers across the world.We are looking to hire an Agricultural Commodity Trader with minimum 2 to 5 years of experience in any of the following commodity: Rice, wheat, dried red chilies, sugar and corn.This position is responsible for the procurement & sales of Agricultural Commodities to end-customers, to perform sourcing, ensuring quality of sourcing and sales, customer satisfaction, opportunity and risk assessment.Roles and Responsibilities1. Form and execute strategies for positioning, buying, and selling commodities.2. Perform market analysis and interpret global trade flows and commodity supply/demand.3. Monitor and interpret the macro-trends of financial markets and the global economy that can impact respective commodity prices in the short, medium, and long term.4. Negotiate the purchase and/or sale of assigned commodities.5. Advise and recommend trading strategies, assesses risk pertaining to buying and selling and negotiate contract terms with clients.6. Liaise with transport, shipping and insurance companies.7. Devise and implement hedging strategies.8. Assist in development of the annual business plan, budget, and forecast.9. Keep track of the results and suggest corrective action plans.10.
