PSAS focuses on both preventing Selling Partner (Seller, Vendor and Brand Registry) contacts based on knowledge obtained during our support interactions, and for handling those contacts with quality and efficiency. To achieve this vision, we make daily adjustments throughout our global network to meet the needs of our Selling Partners, employees, and the business. We invest in technology to eliminate the root cause defects that cause Selling Partners to seek help, build self-service tools to resolve their issues on their own without waiting for help from Amazon, and provide Associates with the tools that automate clerical steps and provide consistent, efficient, quality resolution. Our team includes product managers, program managers, SDEs, scientists, and a range of operational and other specialty roles, and we operate at scale with over 17K Amazonians in our team, spanning 56 global locations, and handling over 50M contacts a year.
As a Business Analyst in the Process & Control team, you will work with our WorldWide Operations Support Program (WWOSP) teams & key stakeholders within the PSAS to leverage our data to drive operational efficiencies, provide key data-driven insights, enable new opportunities and innovate on behalf of our Selling Partners supporting WWOSP teams.
Your responsibilities will include:
1. Analyze the impact of change on our operational delivery, selling partner & associate experience metrics
2. Define key metrics that need to be monitored to improve Selling Partner & Associate experience from WWOSP perspective
3. Generating actionable Insights through analysis of key metrics across functions
4. Identify the root cause through deep analysis of data to reach a point where actionable solutions can be designed
5. Track, measure and report various initiatives to improve Selling Partner Experience
6. Devise mechanisms for control, performance monitoring, and reporting to internal stakeholders
7. Assist in investigating and drafting cost / benefit analysis and business requirements showcasing potential solutions for business initiatives,
9. Working cross-functionally with business teams to ensure development and implementation of programs as per timelines.
7+ years of relevant experience in a business analyst, data analyst or statistical analysis role
Advanced technical or business degree (MS or MBA)
Experience in developing requirements and formulating business metrics for reporting, familiarity with data visualization tools, e.g. Tableau, PowerBI, Quicksight
