Roles and Responsibilities
A large part of the initial couple of months will be focused solely on social media and the role will involve to include organic marketing techniques across digital platforms

0-6Months into the role
Design, develop and manage a comprehensive social media strategyof a sub-brand of HDFC Life, including Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, Google+, and Facebook
Create, deliver and administer a strong social media content and engagement footprint (across formats – text, audio, video, infographics, reels etc.)
Engage with the audience and build relationships on social media platforms; complete ownership of customer queries / interactions on social platforms
Organically grow social following across all channels to hit monthly/quarterly follower goals while maintaining high engagement
Constantly iterate and maintain brands personality and social tone of voice across platforms
Support linkages of social media platforms to the sub-brand website and external digital presence across 3rd party platforms and pages
Analyze the performance and user behavior to make data-driven proposals for product development and marketing using social media marketing tools
Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, content formats, design and applications; be an early adopter of social media trends and technology
Track and analyze SEO in order to provide effective solutions for content optimization

Post 6Months (additional responsibility)
Identify, validate and optimize new acquisition channels including content marketing, viral loops, SEO / SEM, affiliate and influencer marketing
Create, execute and optimize SEO Strategy for each target segment
Plan, execute and measure experiments and optimize user funnels

Desired Candidate Profile
3+ years in growth / digital marketing, with 2 years of social media experience in a B2C industry
Strong functional knowledge of set up and management of key digital channels (including social media) to amplify brand
Ability to make content more engaging, interactive and memorable
Ability to connect with the audience and convey the idea impactfully;
Ability to create compelling content; excellent writing skills with know-how of creating engaging video, audio and infographics
Knowledge of Analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics), SEO / SEM, Google AdWords etc.
