Summary: As SAP Procurement Product Team, our mission is to provide the world’s leading cloud-based spend management solution, unifying the SAP Procurement portfolio across SAP S/4HANA, SAP Ariba Applications & Business Network, and SAP Fieldglass
The Role:
To strengthen further our team, we are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to work with the leading Infrastructure & Platform-as-a-Service (SAP Cloud Platform). S/he must have experience in development and operational activities. S/he has sharp and tenacious troubleshooting skills with ability to identify and fix issues in Dev Ops with good understanding of Python or Shell scripting (Automation mindset is key in this role).
S/he posseses in depth knowledge of network (Switches, Router & Firewall) and Virtualization. S/he must have experience in leading bridge calls and follow up on outages in a collaboration mode with excellent communication and analytical skills. Should also have a deep knowledge of Cloud Computing with strong attention to detail and accuracy. Good to have experience working in a multicultural, worldwide team setup.
Role Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Engineering.Qualifications on Networking and Security is a plus3 to 6 years of experience in software development and operationsExperience working with one of these cloud platforms (Eg: SAP Cloud Platform, AWS, Azure or Google Cloud)Experience in managing and maintaining load balancers, proxies, webservers, Queues, Caches etc.Hands-on experience on Devops Tools Maven, Gradle, Docker, Kubernetes, NagiosExperience with setup & management of monitoring tools like Nagios, Grafana, KIBANA, Dynatrace etc.Familiar with Java, angularJS, NodeJs runtimeExperience working with databases (MongoDB, Postgres, MySql etc.)Knowledge of Security Tools like Fortify, WhiteSource, Blackduck etc.
Good to have:
ITIL Foundation CertificateKnowledge on Code Quality parameters like coverage, checkstyle, linters etc.SAP UI5 knowledgeUnderstanding of agile development process
