The Purpose of Your Role
We, Enterprise Managed File Transfer Engineering Team, are seeking an experienced systems engineer to join this team to help build and maintain high quality product and solutions to the Enterprise.
The Systems Engineer serves as a development and support expert with responsibility for the design, development, automation, testing, and administration of the enterprise infrastructure for the Managed File Transfer Services. Working in an EngOps Model in handling incident, requests and work extensively with technology and business partners across the Fidelity Enterprise. This role will allow Business Partners and customers to be more competitive, more productive, and more profitable in a global business environment. These responsibilities include designing new automated solutions enabling new customer connectivity, securing the environment through tactical change management, as well as working in a cross-organizational fashion to consult and enable these services

The Skills that are Key to this role – Technical & Behavioral
Development experience using UNIX Shell scripting, core Java and JSON. Experience working with REST/SOAP based web services. Experience working with cloud solutions Exposure to Axway MFT is a big plus Experience in supporting critical systems. Experience with Oracle PL/SQL and Linux operating system is a plus. Experience with network protocols and encryption is a plus Experience with ITIL and Project Management Experience with Agile methodologies
Skilled verbally and with presenting to senior team members on strategic idea innovations Ability to work in an agile team environment Development / Automation experience desired

The Expertise We’re Looking For B.S. Computer Science or equivalent Experience with Azure or AWS Application development or systems administration experience Development experience in one or more of the following languages: Java, Python Experience deploying or managing open-source software Strong experience with any Linux distribution 6+ years of Engineering experience Bachelor’s degree in computer science or Information Technology or MCA
