Your Role:
The Marketing technology lead will manage the strategic partnering, solutions delivery, BAU operations and innovation for marketing systems across marketing operations (artwork, product innovation etc.) as well as consumer channels like digital marketing, eCommerce, B2B commerce etc. to ensure high performance, integrated & data-driven consumer engagement, service & performance.
Being a category leader, ekaterra aspires to pioneer consumer insights driven new product & category innovation, as well as data-driven marketing to reach consumers with right offering at right place with right message. You will act as the interface between product/SI partners and the Business and ensure the solutions and associated development and support meet these growing needs of the global marketing function.
The role will be responsible for the creation and maintenance of the Marketing IT roadmap, ensuring the tech development, maintenance & innovation match the business strategy and market trends. You will partner with product partners to influence their product roadmap wherever possible to drive optimal solution outcomes for the business.
Your Key Tasks:
With the support of business analysts, lead the delivery, operations, and BAU support for the key applications (e.g. SF marketing cloud, commerce cloud etc.) ensuring it remains aligned to the current and future business needs.
Build and maintain strong working relationships with global digital hub, global brand leads and other key marketing team & decision-makers.
Develop and maintain the marketing IT strategy in alignment with the business strategy, product roadmap, market trends and ensure ongoing governance to minimize local applications
Ensure that the development and application management services are delivered in accordance with all contractual SLAs and business expectations.
Develop, coach, and manage the performance of direct & indirect reports (key vendor partners), leading by example in all day-to-day activities.
Build good understanding of marketing function in ekaterra, and build partnership with prominent tech partners & industry experts.
Expand knowledge of the tech & digital ecosystem, and ensure continuous innovation/ experimentation in pursuit of delivering high business value & future-fit tech landscape.
Connect with peers in other IT functions (CD, R&D, I&A etc.) to ensure seamless integration, better data hygiene, usability & excellence.
Maintain a view of future functionality and aligned technologies that would enhance, simplify, or delight our customers and shareholders.
Stakeholder Management and key interfaces:
Role reports to the Business Development IT Director
Engagement with Salesforce. Other Product Partners, SI Partner
Engagement with global Digital Hub director, team & global brands
Engagement with IT managers for IT infrastructure, local IT, security, and service management
Engagement with IT delivery and support partner/s
Skills & Experience:
7+ years of experience in managing marketing IT applications/projects in international (multi-country) organization (preferably CPG) or consultant/management experience in big IT consultancies/companies.
Strong history of praactively leading, researching, developing, implementing and executing strategic, solutions-focused initiatives and messaging.
Displaying extensive industry, market and product-level/technical knowledge as well as solutions marketing expertise.
Excellent communication skills and ability to inspire and enthuse others with a clear vision.
Excellent business partnering and stakeholder management, with the ability to win strong support for ideas.
Excellent facilitator, presenter and communicator with strong organization skills.
Innovative thinker with creative problem-solving abilities.
Self starter, high energy, with ability to proactively execute on defined business objectives.
