Job Description : Data Sutram is an alternate data company whose data and technology is extensively utilised for use cases across the sectors – BFSI, Retail & Real Estate, etc. Senior Developers at Data Sutram are solution owners that have expertise in analysis and description of business processes, and their translation into software requirements.Roles & ResponsibilitiesUnderstanding of how to build performant, decoupled, testable, maintainable codeSharing knowledge with teammates, and working collaboratively when you need helpAdvocate for improvements to product quality, security, and performanceCraft code that meets our internal standards for style, maintainability, and best practices for a high-scale web environment. Maintain and advocate for these standards through code reviewProvide constant vision and feedback to the product team during the product development and testing processDefine epics and granular user stories, as applicable, based on the product requirementsCollaborate with QA teams in reviewing test plans for applicability and test coverageParticipate in scrum ceremonies as the solution owner and assist in sprint planning, estimation, requirement analysis and review, taking a call on trade-offs and conflict resolutionPrioritize requirements for the sprint and the release collaborating with the offering managerManage and mentor junior developersPreferred Technical and Professional requirements: 3+ years of experience in preferably in a tech startupStrong foundation in server-side programming languages like Java, Node (TypeScript), PythonProfessional experience with relational and non-relational databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB etc.)Solid understanding and experience with REST API and GraphQL API architectureExperience with containerization (Docker etc.) and cloud technologiesExperience with automation and building CI/CD pipelinesDemonstrated capacity to clearly and concisely communicate about complex technical, architectural, and/or organizational problems and propose thorough solutionsExperience with performance and optimization problems and a demonstrated ability to both diagnose and prevent these problemsComfort working in a highly agile, iterative software development processNice to have: Excellent verbal and written communication skillsProduct company experienceKnowledge of Project Management tools like JiraKnowledge of Data Science Applications & Statistical AnalysisUnderstanding of microservice architectureKnowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools like TerraformJob Types: Full-time, Regular / PermanentSalary: ₹800,000.00 – ₹1,000,000.00 per yearSchedule:Day shiftApplication Question(s):We must fill this position urgently.
