We’re looking for a Content Associate to join Snap Inc.! As a member of the Content team, you will work closely with leadership and our team of content specialists to identify the best trends and content and help develop, editorialize, and program the Spotlight platform in India. Working from our office in Mumbai, you’ll collaborate with the broader Content team as well as our Talent, Partnerships, Camera Platform, and Product teams to build Spotlight into a compelling destination for local audiences and creators.
What you’ll do:
Be responsible for driving Spotlight content efforts for the India region, including content programming and execution of cross-functional content strategy.
Be an expert in internet culture and deeply understand how content platforms work, with a particular focus on UGC.
Oversee a seven-day-a-week programming schedule and build tentpole content initiatives to inspire creation and engagement in the India market.
Analyze and report on the state of the local content and creation ecosystem, including content development efforts, performance, feedback, user experience, and cross-functional reporting.
Develop incentives and platform feedback mechanisms that encourage inclusive and high-quality content creation from the entire Snapchat community. Help to develop creative tools and content formats that help more of our community express themselves.
Support key content initiatives and coordinate execution with cross-functional partners, including Marketing, PR, Music, Product and Partnerships.
Monitor and foster relevant and engaging trends to help define Spotlight content and ease community participation.
Be an expert on Snapchat style and voice in order to extend the product offering in an authentic and grounded manner.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Expertise in internet trends and pop culture
Deep understanding of content platforms, especially UGC
Strong creative taste and discretion and experience working on creative projects
Proficiency in Hindi and English. Multilinguals would be preferred
Outstanding analytical skills and a strong facility with data
Ability to mix quantitative and qualitative inputs to inform decision-making
Outstanding execution skills and the ability to proactively add value
Highly resourceful, flexible and brings positivity to the work environment

Minimum Qualifications:
BS/BA degree or equivalent years of experience
5+ years working in digital content or social media
Passion and knowledge of internet trends and pop culture
Data-driven mindset and strong analytical skills
Experience with creative development, production, and/or programming
Working knowledge of Snapchat
Preferred Qualifications:
Ability to work with external partners and creators
Comfort with data and dashboard applications (e.g., Looker, Tableau)
Experience working with product/engineering teams
