WHAT YOU’LL DO
Product to equipment handover, is one of the key building blocks in “Digital Thread Equipment Foundation”, to help Industrial equipment manufacturers, and operators to manage their equipment holistically and in a more efficient way from creation of equipment structures, managing and tracking changes along the lifecycle to enabling collaborative use cases.
As a Senior Developer + DevOps you contribute to build this as part of Enterprise Product Development. While coding and devops will be your core task, in this role you will:
Autonomous building, setting up and document new development tools and infrastructure to form a self-service platform for our engineers
Support ensuring that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats (DevSecOps)
Support internal and external customers on multiple platforms to troubleshoot customer environments to increase user satisfaction
To show technical leadership in the team and play as ‘Trusted Advisor’ role to the developers on Technology topics, participate, as necessary, in coding, testing, documentation, go-live and maintenance support activities
Effective change management on projects by analyzing the impact of any new requirements on the project scope & timelines
Work with teams across organizational and geographical boundaries to design and develop the state-of-the-art SAP applications
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
Master/ bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering or related
6 – 9 years of experience in software development, preferably within a scrum team
Strong Programming experience in JAVA (tools and frameworks), SAP UI5, Fiori, GitHub, OData, REST, Spring Boot, CAP programming module, Cloud Foundry
Automation experience with at least one configuration/deployment management system such as, AWS Cloud Formation, or other such tools
Experience working with Git and GitHub, Jenkins, Selenium, Docker, Kubernetes, Cloud Foundry
Proficient with git and git workflows and in leveraging CI and CD tools to automate testing and deployment is a plus
Detailed knowledge of the PLM core processes is and added advantage
