Job Description : The Risk, Compliance and Controls (RCC) Technology team delivers a wide range of technology solutions to support the firm’s Risk Management functions (Credit Risk, Market Risk, Country Risk, Operational Risk, Reputational Risk), Compliance functions (Trade Surveillance, Financial Crimes, Electronic Communication, Employee Compliance), and Control functions (first and second line of defense controls).
Risk, Compliance & Controls Technology is seeking a strong Application developer as Associate (602) to help design, develop and support of applications within / affecting RCC Technology portfolio. These applications involve diverse development platforms, software, hardware, technologies and tools.
Roles and Responsibilities
Design and create data visualizations (reports and dashboards) as required to support business needs
Analyze, define requirements, develop and create documentation for dashboards
Champion dashboard quality, consistency, usability and reliability by documenting and applying best practices to design and development
Communicate project status updates and recommendations
Configure, optimize and maintain Tableau Server and clients
Define, execute and interpret SQL queries
Establish standards and best practices for requesting, prioritizing and developing dashboards
Collaborate with technical staff and end users to understand and troubleshoot platform issues and develop appropriate solutions
Required Skills
Experience with Tableau Desktop and Server
Strong analytical, quantitative, problem solving and organizational skills
Designing and developing business intelligence dashboards using Tableau.
Experience working with large and complex data set able to write simple queries to create calculated fields.
Empirical understanding of data systems (BI analytics, data blending, data warehousing, data ETL, etc.) on process automation and standardization.
Experience working on a support team environment by documenting, researching, solving problems via phone calls or email ticketing system.
Experience working directly with business analysts or business sponsors to gather and validate functional requirements and provide the design specifications.
Ability to work on multiple projects and flexibility to change priorities when needed.
Nice to Have Experience in UI, UX space (can be concurrent or overlap with Tableau experience) demonstrable with evidence of using a combination of user interface tools such as wire frames, prototypes, mock-ups, or white boarding to illustrate product usability.
