About the Team
The SAP Business Network is the world’s largest B2B network that makes it easy for buyers and suppliers to collaborate on transactions, strengthen their relationships, and discover new business opportunities. The Trading Partner Portal team is building a unified, collaborative, and intelligent platform to connect all participants in SAP networks and third-party networks. This empowers our customers to have one central place to work with their trading partners. We are looking for a strong front-end engineer who is passionate about architecting and building intuitive web applications that millions of users will love.
Role Information
Architect, build, and own end-to-end experience using custom, reusable UI components.
Design and implement overall site designs using Angular, HTML5, CSS, Typescript, ES6, and above
Collaborate with the design team to implement a clean and elegant user experience
Specialize in building scalable and elegant web applications
Write client-side code for web-based applications, create fast, easy-to-use, high volume production applications, and develop prototypes quickly
Role Requirements
At least 3 years of experience as a front-end UI engineer.
Minimum BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related experience.
Deep working knowledge of Angular and/or React, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS or SASS and cross-browser compatibility
Deep understanding of REST principles and experience working with HTTP REST/JSON
Write clean and maintainable code using best engineering practices (unit testing, automation, source control, design patterns, etc.)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
