Job Description : Job Overview:
We’re looking for a seasoned solution architect to be part of our Business Intelligence and Analytics (BIA) team. This role will independently lead and manage projects on BI platforms such as Datorama, Tableau, Power BI, etc. Projects involve development of marketing intelligence solutions through a structured process of data ingestion from various sources to data transformation to design & creation of visually rich, interactive dashboards. Datorama certification is highly preferred. The solution architect should be able to foresee data & technical challenges and formulate solution options to meet client needs.
Job Description, Requirements, Qualifications & Responsibilities:
Ø 9+ years of experience in BI dashboard creation and data integration & transformation.
Ø Proven ability to effectively engage with clients, understand client business insight needs and lead & collaborate with the other members of business intelligence team to arrive at solutions that meet client’s needs.
Ø Understanding of digital marketing ecosystem, latest digital marketing trends and marketing technologies will be preferred
Ø Experience in directly managing and mentoring small teams (3 to 6 members) of senior and junior BI consultants/analysts.
Ø Ability to balance technical oversight needs with people management responsibilities
Ø Strong knowledge of end-to-end data pipeline, from data ingestion to visualization.
Ø Experience in working with marketing-related datasets such as Sales/Marketing data, Ad Campaign Data, Website Performance data etc., would be preferred but not mandatory.
Ø Strong knowledge of database management (schemas, views, stored procedure and so on) and proven ability to write complex SQL queries, database tuning, query optimization and resolving key query performance issues.
Ø Strong knowledge of advanced calculations in various BI platforms
Ø Expertise in planning and executing ETL processes to extract and integrate data from multiple data sources to facilitate dashboard creation.
Ø Strong understanding of APIs/ connectors
Ø Good understanding the overall data automation process and data flow
Ø Proven ability to build standard and custom metrics/KPIs and dimensions, involving advanced calculation logic, as per client’s business needs.
Ø Strong knowledge of metrics/KPIs from platforms related to Media/advertising data, Digital Analytics, Sales/Marketing data etc., would be an added advantage.
Ø Working knowledge of languages such as Python, R would be added advantage
Ø Demonstrated expertise in designing interactive and actionable dashboards (on Datorama, Tableau or Power BI) to provide appropriate functionalities & insights that help answer client’s business questions
Ø Excellent communication and presentation skills (verbal & written) are essential.
Ø Must be detail oriented with excellent time management and team collaboration skills
