The Opportunity:
We are looking for an experienced Devops Engineer with Experience supporting B2B applications, including working with customers, system users, and system stakeholders, using and traversing multiple ticketing systems, prioritizing, and tracking issues, recognizing, and responding to system issues, providing support on incidents, documenting problem responses.
Ability and willingness to adjust hours to cover special customer requests, gaps in staffing, international team meetings – and to respond off hours to incident notifications.
You are great at:
building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure
understanding the needs of stakeholders and conveying this to developers
working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes
ensuring that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats
identifying technical problems and developing software updates and ‘fixes’
planning out projects and being involved in project management decisions
working with software developers and software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended
Desired Skills:

Excellent organizational and time management skills, and the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time
Awareness of DevOps and Agile principles
What it takes:
Source Code Management: svn, git
Build Tools: maven
Continuous Integration: Jenkins/gitlab/teamcity
Ability to understand Java Code
Operating Systems: Mainframe, Windows Server, Linux, Windows & Linux Desktops OS
Strong experience with B2B communications protocols (FTP, SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS, etc.)
Scripting Languages: Bash, Python
Configuration Management Tools: Ansible
Database: Oracle 12c, MySQL
Analytical Skills
ITIL Knowledge
Network Troubleshooting
Virtualization & Cloud Computing (AWS and GCP)
