Responsibilities:Test web applications, APIs and client applicationsAnalyze user stories and test scenarios, develop test casesTranslate existing manual regression test cases into automated tests, both for web UI and API testingDebug and troubleshoot complex issuesWrite and execute test plansDesign and develop test tools, performance testing tools, and other quality inspection toolsImplement and maintain test automation and frameworks
• Execute automated tests and analyze test automation resultsRequirements:• Open and willing to join an agile, fast paced work environmentExcellent written and oral communication skills with ability to explain, present, and showcase concepts and concerns to technical and non-technical audiences.Must be familiar with entire Software Development Life Cycle processKnowledge of at least one programming language: Java, C#, Python or otherExposure to various web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScriptExposure to various versioning systems (Git, TFS, Subversion)Experience with automated testing tools and technologies: Selenium, Jenkins, Test Runners, Rest AssuredExposure to and experience with test case management toolsExposure to system administration tasks in Windows or Linux (examples: managing users, updating permissions, modifying networking, remote system management)Self-motivated, able to learn and research issues independentlyKnowledge of modern best practices for professional software development including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or relevant Engineering degree.
