Roles and Responsibilities
Ensuring smooth functioning of the Accounts Payable.
Ensuring accurate accounting of the Vendor payable and Employee reimbursement.
Ensuring adherence to GST law registration of new locations, taking correct input, GST input reconciliation, cross-charge and GST return filing.
Maintaining complete, up to date & accurate statutory books of accounts / documents / vouchers.
Ensuring Statutory & Audit compliances at all points of time (Accounting Standards & Principals, Companies Act, TDS, GST, PT, etc.)
Maintenance of Fixed Asset Register.
Ensuring timely and accurate payment of taxes and filing of relevant returns.
Accounting of expense at cost / profit center level and submission of relevant MIS (variance analysis).
Coordinating with Auditors and ensuring timely & accurate completion of audit
Liasoning with Tax consultants for Income Tax / GST etc.
Exploring SAP to full advantage & automation of processes.
Providing support in preparation of Annual Budget, Mid-term Budget, Long Term Plans and quarterly forecasts etc.
