Job Description : Responsibilities1. Prepare rough drafts according to requirements2. Combine hand-drawing and painting with digital media to create complete illustrations3. Refine designs with illustration software4. Use various colors, graphics and effects to better visualize each concept5. Format images using computer-aided design (CAD) software6. Apply isometric techniques to add perspective to complex shapes7. Participate in design briefs with clients, editors and/or marketers to identify their needs8. Define time and budget limitations9. Ensure that printed illustrations meet quality and color standards10. Brainstorm with the design team to come up with new ideas, patterns and styles11. Stay up-to-date with new design techniques and softwareRequirements and skills1. Proven work experience as an Illustrator, Graphic Designer or similar role2. Demonstrable portfolio of completed illustrations3. Hands-on experience with computer-aided design (CAD) software4. Solid knowledge of image editing and digital sketching software, like Photoshop, Indesign and Adobe Illustrator5. Drawing skills with an attention to detail (both by hand and digital pen)6. Strong aesthetic and conceptual skills7.
